It has been a while since I’ve done a Cincinnati Reds wallpaper, but with the magic number down to 3, the timing seemed right. When deciding on who to feature, it seemed obvious to go with Joey Votto. After missing the majority of the 2nd half, Votto has stepped in and picked up where he left off. He is going to be a key to the Reds making a post season run, and there are few people I’d rather be relying on.

Louisville Bats Logo Wallpaper
The AAA season is coming to a close, and the Bats didn’t have the year they had hoped, but that didn’t stop me and other fans from having a great time at Slugger Field. I’m lucky enough to be a Cincinnati fan in Louisville and have the opportunity to enjoy the stars before they make it to the big show. If you are ever in Louisville and have a chance to go to Slugger Field to watch the Bats play, don’t pass it up or you will regret not experiencing it.
Barry Larkin Hall Of Fame Wallpaper
For many Reds fans Barry Larkin represents what a baseball player should be. Not only was he great on the field, but he played with a respect for the game that a lot of todays players seem to lack. Larkin was a member of the Reds for his entire 19 year career, and did more for the city of Cincinnati than just win baseball games. Growing up he was the player that I wanted to be (obviously that goal fell short), and is still my favorite player of all time. Congratulations to Barry Larkin on his induction to Cooperstown.
Jay Bruce Wallpaper
Jay Bruce is a big reason the Reds are where they are at the break, and the fans took notice by voting Bruce to the All Star game. I remember watching Bruce play in Louisville and I’ve been a big fan of Jay from the beginning. He has proven to be a streaky hitter over his career, but this year he has been hot more often than not. Bruce is leading the team in both RBIs and HRs, which is no easy task when he share a club house with Joey Votto. Hope you enjoy the wallpaper, and here’s to hoping Jay Bruce can continue his success in the 2nd half.
Zack Cozart Wallpaper
Zack Cozart is a name that Reds fans have known for year, but the rest of the country is starting to be clued in. In his first full season with the Reds Cozart has taken on the roll as lead off hitter, and has done so pretty well as of late. He is batting .264 with a .308 OBP (which aren’t great, but he is starting to get more comfortable in the 1 hole). Defensively he has joined Brandon Phillips to form a solid front up the middle, with Cozart helping turn 27 double plays thus far. It will be exciting to see Cozart grow into the SS of the future in Cincinnati, and he is off to a pretty good start.
Cincinnati Reds Logo Wallpaper
I’ve done a couple of “logo” wallpaper lately, and they seem to be a big hit. So this time I decided to take it to the diamond and put together a Cincinnati Reds logo wallpaper. This one, as you can see, is similar to the others with a few alterations. In this one you’ll see that the “C” and the “REDS” have a wood grain texture that sets it apart from the rest of the logo. I’m pumped about how this one turned out, and hopefully it will let you represent the Reds the rest of the season.
Devin Mesoraco Wallpaper
Being from Louisville, I’ve had more of a chance to watch Devin Mesoraco more over the last couple of years than most Reds fans, and he has become one of my favorite current Reds. I’ve seen him interact with fans at Slugger Field, and watched him dominate games at the AAA level. Now that he is starting to get some serious playing time in the bigs, a lot more Reds fans are getting a chance to see what he can do. His first season hasn’t been extraordinary, but you can really tell he is getting comfortable at the plate, as well as managing the pitching staff. Between him and Hannigan, I think behind the plate is covered for years to come in Cincinnati.
Mat Latos Wallpaper
Mat Latos is a new face in Cincinnati, and he finally seems to be getting comfortable in his new city. After a couple of rough starts Latos is starting to show why the Reds made the move to get him in the offseason. A lot of fans thought they may have given up too much (jury is still out), but if Latos can keep throwing like he has his last couple of outings that argument may be laid to rest. Latos is a young right hander who spent his time in San Diego before being traded to the Reds. He has a lot of promise, and showed it fanning a Reds season high 11 batters against the Pirates. His career in Cincinnati is still young, but one thing that isn’t debatable is that Latos has the potential to a staple in the Reds rotation.
18 Cincinnati Reds Wallpapers
The season is still early, and the Reds aren’t where we’d like to see them, but they have shown glimpses of what could be to come. Drew Stubbs has started to hit the ball out of the 2 hole, Matt Lattos put together a great outing last night, and Brandon Phillips looks to be getting healthy again. All of those factors made me decide to take a break from the illustrations and put together some more Reds wallpapers. This time I managed to feature 17 players, and a “generic” Reds wallpaper. Some of them are better than others (tough to find good pictures), but hopefully you enjoy them all. Thanks for looking, and go Reds.
2012 Reds Schedule Wallpapers
Opening day is right around the corner, so I’m a little late with the first Reds wallpapers of the season. With my Cards making it to the Final Four I was a bit distracted, but I think these make up for it. I have created a wallpaper for almost every starter on the team, and nearly every player in general (less the pitchers). I’m hoping to get the chance to add a couple more players before opening day, so keep an eye out for those. This should be a great season to be a Reds fan, and this is a good way to kick off the season. Thanks for looking!
