As I announced a few days ago, I am interning with the Kentucky Xtreme (an professional indoor football time in Louisville). I will be posting a lot of the work I do for them here, so I hope you enjoy it. Here is a schedule poster I did that will be printed 17×11 and distributed around town and at the stadium. Also attached is a FaceBook cover photo I did for the team page, which you can follow here.

Kentucky Xtreme
I am happy to announce that this coming season I will be a graphic design intern for the Kentucky Xtreme. The Xtreme are a professional indoor football team in Louisville that are part of the CIFL. They play their home games at Freedom Hall and will host 6 games this season, starting in February. I am excited to be part of the team, and I look forward to helping the team promote and grow in the area. Here is the first piece I did for them, a wallpaper featuring a stylized version of the logo. Visit the teams website to view the schedule, the roster (several former UofL players), and ticket information. It is a very exciting brand of football, and I look forward to seeing you all at games this season.
River City Craft Wear Wallpaper
RIver City Craft Wear is a Louisville based clothing company that focusing on apparel for those of you that enjoy a cold beer on occasion (often). I’ll let Ryan (the founder) explain the company more by posting a blurb from their site, but I’ll take a second to explain the wallpaper. Basically, I turned the Louisville skyline into beer, what more could you ask for right? RCCW has a great logo, so that is the focus of the design. Take a second to check out their website, purchase a few awesome shirts, and represent a local up and coming business on your desktop.
Welcome to River City Craft Wear!
Our goal is to bring you the highest-quality apparel and goods to show off your love for locally-brewed and micro-brewed craft beer. The idea for RCCW started after a local beer festival when we decided we wanted to be able to wear something that stands out while walking from booth to booth sampling beers and munching on pretzel necklaces.

Purp.me wallpaper
PurpMe is a charity organization that is out to make uplifting and helping people cool. Purp (People Uplifting Real People) organizes events for kids and spread the word that even the smallest acts of kindness can change someone’s day and make the world a better place. Purp is based out of Louisville, KY and has gotten major support from UofL basketball player Kevin Ware and several other athletes. I think the word they are trying to spread is very admirable and needs to be heard by the world, so I decided to do my small part and create a wallpaper. If you are interested in helping the cause, check out their website and twitter to see how you can help.
Terrence Williams Wallpaper
If you have followed my work over the years, you probably know that Terrence Williams is one of my all time favorite Cardinals. When he was drafted 11th overall, I was excited to see him make a name for himself in the NBA. As I’m sure you all know, things didn’t go as planned for Williams, as he ended up jumping from team to team and eventually ending up in China. After having a successful year over seas, Williams has been given another chance in the league with the Boston Celtics. He made his Celtics debut last night against the Lakers, and played well in limited minutes. With just a 10 day contract in Boston it isn’t known how long Williams will be there, but I’m going to rock this wallpaper until something changes.
Taj Gibson Wallpaper
One of the keys to success this year for the Chicago Bulls is going to be Taj Gibson. He recently signed a contract extension with Chicago and is expected to have a big year in the windy city. So far this year Gibson has been a solid contributor, averaging 8 points and just over 5 rebounds a game (which is about his career average). Gibson isn’t a guy who is going to put up monster numbers, but if he can put up solid numbers off the bench, Bulls fans will be happy.
Chicago Bulls Logo Wallpaper (Desktop and iPhone)
Over the past few years I’ve tried to get more and more into the NBA, and I decided that having a team to follow would make that easier. The task then became picking a team that to call my own, and as an adult, that is harder than you would think. Growing up in the 90’s, Michael Jordan was my idol and therefore the Bulls were my team. As I grew older I got less interested in the NBA, eventually not watching it at all. So when trying decide on a team, the Bulls were the first and most obvious choice for me. With all that crap being sad, expect a lot more Bulls wallpapers in the future. This is the first (I think) that I’ve ever done for Chicago, and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking, and stay tuned.
Joey Votto Wallpaper
It has been a while since I’ve done a Cincinnati Reds wallpaper, but with the magic number down to 3, the timing seemed right. When deciding on who to feature, it seemed obvious to go with Joey Votto. After missing the majority of the 2nd half, Votto has stepped in and picked up where he left off. He is going to be a key to the Reds making a post season run, and there are few people I’d rather be relying on.
UofL Logo Wallpaper (Desktop and Mobile)
Just finished up another UofL logo wallpaper, with both a mobile and a desktop version. The logo wallpapers have been pretty popular since I started putting them out, but this may be my favorite one yet. It isn’t really sports specific, but I would lean more towards football just because the stripes remind me of what you would find on a football helmet. I added different depths of bevels to the logo to set it apart from the background, and added texture to the stripes to make them pop. Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think.
NFL (NFC) Logo Wallpaper (Mobile and Desktop)
With the NFL season starting tomorrow, I thought it was time for some wallpaper for the professional football fan. I have been getting more and more into the NFL over the last few years, and for the first time I’m pumped for the season to start. The plan is to have a wallpaper (mobile and desktop) for every team in the NFL, but for tonight, it is just the NFC. Take a look and let me know what you think. The desktop wallpapers are first, with the mobile wallpaper at the end.
